<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent shock generated when the clutch is engaged. <P>SOLUTION: Engagement of a clutch is prohibited when at least either one of a motor rotational speed V<SB>M</SB>which is an input side rotational speed of the clutch or a driven wheel speed V<SB>W</SB>which is an output side rotational speed of the clutch becomes a predetermined low rotational speed or less wherein rotational speed detecting capability of a rotational speed sensor deteriorates. Or, when they approach a rotational speed detecting capability deteriorating area and there is a possibility of them reaching the area, the clutch is engaged before they reach the area. Shock is prevented furthermore by engaging the clutch when driven wheel acceleration/deceleration A<SB>W</SB>which is output side rotational acceleration/deceleration is within a predetermined range, or a difference ΔA between a motor rotational acceleration/deceleration A<SB>M</SB>which is input side rotational acceleration/deceleration and the driven wheel acceleration/deceleration A<SB>W</SB>is within a predetermined range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
