<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force controller for a vehicle capable of preventing shocks from occurring while a clutch provided between a source to be driven and a wheel to be driven is shifted to an disengagement state during vehicle traveling. <P>SOLUTION: After the output torque of a motor is determined to be on a decrease during vehicle traveling, the clutch is disengaged when the output torque corresponds to torque transmitted from a rear wheel.
