SOIL CLEANING METHOD BY TRENCH ENGINEERING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil cleaning method excellent in the cleaning effect for a polluted area. SOLUTION: The soil cleaning method is characterized by including the steps of forming a water injection trench and a water pumping trench in soil; supplying cleaning water along the wall face of the water injection trench while applying pulses to the water; passing the cleaning water through a polluted area between the water injection trench and the water pumping trench; pumping up the cleaning water passed through the polluted area by the water pumping trench; and removing polluting substances from the pumped cleaning water. Since water is supplied along the wall face of the water injection trench, the cleaning water can evenly be supplied to the polluted area and since cleaning water supply is carried out by applying pulses to the cleaning water, excellent cleaning effect of the polluted area can be achieved and thus the effect of pulse application is significant.
