PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring clutch capable of satisfactorily lubricating the contact part between a clutch spring and a clutch surface. SOLUTION: A clutch spring 11 having coil parts 11a the side surfaces of which are in contact with each other is integrated between a pulley 1 and a pulley hub 2 integrated to the inside thereof, a cylindrical surface 13a on the circumference of the clutch spring 11 is elastically brought into contact with the cylindrical clutch surface 14 provided on the inside of the pulley 1, and one end part of the clutch spring 11 is connected to the pulley hub 2. Both side surfaces of the coil parts 11a of the clutch spring 11 are formed in protruding circular surfaces 12, so that grease in a grease sealing space 10 provided on the inner side of the clutch spring 11 can smoothly flow between the coil parts 11a by the centrifugal force in rotation, whereby the lubricating property of the contact part between the clutch spring 11 and the clutch surface 14 is improved.
