PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve mechanism for an engine certainly carrying out control of an oil pressure and accurate control of the valve since an oil leakage and mixing of air into a system are less. SOLUTION: A control valve 34 has a pressurized oil feed means side port 32 connected to a pressurized oil feed means 20; an output port 31 connected to a hydraulic port; and a release port 33 connected to an oil pan. In the case where the pressurized oil feed means side port 32 and the output port 31 are communicated and the release port is closed, flowing out of the oil from the pressurized oil feed means side port 32 to the output port 31 side is possible. The output port 31 is communicated with the release port 33. A check valve 36 is provided inside such that flowing out of the oil from the output port 31 side to the release port 33 side is possible, when the pressurized oil feed means side port 32 is closed.
