摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite fiber capable of producing a cellulose ester-based very fine filament excellent in soft feeling. SOLUTION: This sea-island composite fiber constituted by a thermoplastic polymer dissolvable with an alkaline hot water as a sea component and a composition containing the cellulose ester and a plasticizer as an island component is characterized by forming a continuous phase of the island component in fiber axis direction.
