LIQUID JET HEAD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of crosstalk by enabling a liquid chamber member (an ink chamber member 1) to be directly formed on a piezoelectric element 2 without using an adhesive and to manufacture many liquid jet heads (inkjet heads H) at once without creating variation in liquid ejection characteristics by making the thicknesses of the liquid chamber members uniform. SOLUTION: At least a part of a face of the piezoelectric element 2 at the side of the liquid chamber member is formed of a nucleation assisting material-including layer 2d including a nucleation assisting material for growing of metal plating at a time when the liquid chamber member is formed on the face by electroless plating. The liquid chamber material is formed on the nucleation assisting material-including layer 2d by the electroless plating. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
