PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher which is compact and excellent in installation characteristics. SOLUTION: This dishwasher has a main body 1, a washing vessel 5 fixed in the main body 1, an opening 2 fixed on the front face of the washing vessel 5 as its main face, a door body 18 to closes the opening 2, and a supporting means 20 which supports the door body 18 allowing it to freely move to the upper space of the main body 1.
