PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet irradiation apparatus which can improve working properties and safety with a reduced input power, can be miniaturized and reduced in weight, and is little in the occurrence of a defective coating film after curing. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet irradiation apparatus has a power supply part and a light source part which is electrically connected to the power supply part and generates ultraviolet rays by the supply of electricity from the power supply part in order to cure an ultraviolet curable coating agent applied on a floor surface by irradiating it with ultraviolet rays. The light source of the light source part has a low pressure mercury lamp and a second light source part 280-320 nm in wavelength. By using the ultraviolet radiation apparatus, work properties and safety can be improved, miniaturization and weight reduction are possible, and the occurrence of the defective coating film after curing is eliminated.
