PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine whose game progress can be surely controlled based on a detecting signal by a game medium which was discharged into a game area and got a prize even at a starting time of power supply to the game machine. SOLUTION: This game machine is equipped with a main board 31 to control game progress, a deliver control board 37 to deliver prize balls, and a ball discharging device to discharge a ball into a game area. The CPU 56 in the main board 31 is initialized after the deliver control board 37 is started when the power source is switched ON and a ball can not be hit by the ball discharging device until the CPU 56 is completely initialized.
