<p>The invention relates to taste masked dosage forms utilizing low amounts of taste masking polymer, and simple and economical processes for the preparation of the taste masked dosage forms. The taste-masked dosage form includes one or more drugs and one or more cationic polymers synthesized from dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate and neutral methacrylic acid esters. The wt/wt ratio of the drug to polymer is less than about one to two.</p>
