METHOD OF ADJUSTING OUTPUT IMAGE IN IMAGE FILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately and automatically adjust image quality according to individual image data.

SOLUTION: When a memory card MC is inserted into a slot 34, a control circuit 30 of a color printer 20 analyzes image processing control information GC by acquiring it from the memory card MC. A CPU 31 corrects a reference value with respect to each image quality parameter indicative of a characteristic of the image data by referencing the image processing control information GC. The CPU 31 corrects each image quality parameter value so as to make it close to the corrected reference value to treat the image quality of the image data by referencing each corrected image quality parameter value.
