<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To verify whether the state of consumption of consumable parts is appropriate or not, and surely collect recoverable consumed part containers. <P>SOLUTION: By using the IDs of a consumable ink cartridge as a key, the ID of a dealer which delivered the ink cartridge is accepted from the computer 60 of a consumable part stock control part and registered to a consumable part control database 32. In the same manner, the ID of a printer in which the ink cartridge is mounted is accepted from the printer and registered thereto, and the ID of the dealer which recovered the ink cartridge is accepted from the computer 60 of the consumable part stock control part and registered thereto. Based on the ID of the registered dealer which delivered the ink cartridge, ID of the dealer which collected, and ID of the printer mounted, the state of consumption of the ink cartridge is verified whether it is appropriate or not. Based on the results of the verification, points are set to the dealer. Thus, the proper consumption of the ink cartridge and the recover thereof can be further assured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
