<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which a print shop measures the effort for lowering the down time of an apparatus, e.g. a paper end, objectively and makes it reflect on maintenance charge. <P>SOLUTION: The image recorder comprises a means for detecting key operation of an apparatus by a user, a means for detecting the paper end, or the like, a means for measuring down time, and a means for accumulating and storing down time wherein the down time is measured by taking the opportunity of key operation by the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
