<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device and a method of the light irradiation which achieve a significant effect of the light irradiation of the body fluid contained in a bag. <P>SOLUTION: The light irradiation device 1 is equipped with a bag supporting part 34 equipped with a first plate 341 and a second plate 342 made of a light transmitting material and supporting a blood bag, light source parts 22, 32 for irradiating the blood bag with light, cooling parts 23, 33, 35 for cooling the blood bag and the light source parts 22, 32, and an oscillating means 38 for oscillating the bag supporting part 34. The bag supporting part 34 makes at least a part of the blood bag into a thin layer part by holding the blood bag tightly between the first plate 341 and the second plate 342. When the oscillating means 38 is activated, the blood in the blood bag passes through the thin layer part in the blood bag and moves back and forth repeatedly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
