<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve menu selection on the screens of a plurality of mounting devices in an electronic component mounting system for mounting electronic components on a board by a plurality of the mounting devices. <P>SOLUTION: Desired menu items among a plurality of functions in the electronic component mounting system are assigned one-to-one to an arbitrary command button among a group of the command buttons displayed on the screen, so that customization of the menus is performed. The thus customized menus are shared by each mounting system to select whether to use preferentially the customized menus (S2, S4), whether to use exclusively the customized menus (S12), or whether to use combined menus (S9).
