PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively conduct access control of a database performing document management even if occurrences and users are increased. SOLUTION: In a document management method managing document data with RDB, operation information from the user to document data is inputted, its operation result is presented to the user, the operation data from the user is converted into operation information to a document management table in a document management database, operation based on the converted operation information is executed to the document management database, a base information access to the base document data corresponding to the document data is given to the user, an access request to the document data of the user is determined based on the base information access given to the base document data corresponding to the document data, and access control to the document data is executed.
