NON-INSULATING POLYIMIDE FILM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide film with controlled electrical conductivity without impairing mechanical properties and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The polyimide film comprises powdered carbon fibers and the polyimide as indispensable components and has≤1.0×1015Ωcm of volume resistivity. The film is produced by dispersing the powdered carbon fibers in a solution of polyamic acid which is a precursor of the polyimide, and then imidizing after film forming the polyamic acid solution.
