PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic membrane module capable of preventing the generation of the closure of a flow channel between a plurality of membrane tubes constituting a membrane element. SOLUTION: The membrane element 13 is constituted of a plurality of membrane tubes 16 made of ceramic and a bundling plate 17 for bundling and fixing the respective membrane tubes 16 to support them. Reinforcing ribs 36a and 36b are provided to the surface of the bundling plate 17 on the side of the fluid to be treated thereof. The membrane tubes 16 are arranged on the bundling plate 17 excepting the place where the ribs 36a and 36b are attached to form a membrane tube lack region A to which the membrane tubes 16 are not attached on the side of the fluid to be treated of the bundling plate 17 along the place where the ribs 36a and 36b are attached. The membrane tube lack region A is constituted as concentrated water discharge flow channels 37a and 37b accelerating the discharge of concentrated water. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
