A vegetative growth and enhancement system and method which includes a support structure (24) and a roof (26) for the support structure. The roof includes a plurality of spaced openings (28) for providing various amounts of shadow and light and radiation passage for the growth and enhancement of the vegetation in a planting medium. Also disclosed is a container apparatus (200) activated and regulated by environmental temperature changes for providing water and other fluids in quantities and in timed periods to irrigate and promote growth of vegetation.
