The wiper arm assembly comprises a main component (10) and an intermediate component (20), each with parallel side flanges (14,22) and holes (18,28) for a pivot pin (52). The assembly incorporates a moulded anti-noise insert (32) which goes between the main and intermediate components and has side walls (34) with holes to receive the same pivot pin. The pivot pin is moulded in one piece with the insert and connected to it by a separable joint (58) so that it can be detached and inserted through the aligned holes once the components have been assembled. |
