The motor vehicle body has a supporting structure assembled from large-sized part modules, whereby the base module is connected to a front end module. A front end section of the floor belongs to the front end module and extends rearwards between side longitudinal support member sections over a considerable length section of the base module. The front end module includes the longitudinal support member sections which bound the front end section of the floor and which are connected to the side longitudinal support member sections of the base module.
