PURPOSE: A voice message service method for improving a voice message connection function and a system therefor are provided to easily write a voice message and confirm the written voice message. CONSTITUTION: An MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(11) translates a voice messaging service request signal including a certain prefix and a voice call identification number of a termination-side communication terminal, and forwards a message service request call to a voice message server(13). The voice message server(13) records and stores a voice according to the voice message service request, and notifies a voice message to the termination-side communication terminal through an SMSC(Short Message Service Center)(12).
