PURPOSE: A water-supply cutoff device for a dish washer is provided to cut off the supply of water when a water-supply valve is out of order by using a floating body. CONSTITUTION: A water-supply cutoff device for a dish washer is composed of a water-supply valve(350) having a water-supply passage and a solenoid valve unit for controlling the water-supply passage, a tub having an communication unit, a base(300) having a sump assembly(310) connected to the lower part of the communication unit, a drainpipe protruding upward from the sump assembly, a floating body(360) installed at the top of the base, a connecting rod(362) connected to the top of the floating body, and an opening/closing unit. The opening/closing unit opens/closes the water-supply passage according to the operation of the connecting rod.
