<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for using used paper sheets (the rear side of paper sheet) preferentially. <P>SOLUTION: In the case where a double-sided mode is executed as an automatic paper selection mode, when image data is double-sided data (YES in step S1), paper storage parts excepting a paper storage part corresponding to used paper are searched for and detemination is made (step S2). In the case where image data is single-side data (NO in step S1), when it is not determined that staple processing is executed (NO in step S4), all the paper storage parts including the paper storage part corresponding to the used paper are searched for and determination is made (step S5). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
