PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method with which the pH condition of an immersion process in the production of deinked pulp is neutralized, drainage load is lightened and ink is excellently released. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the deinked pulp of printed wastepaper, comprising a disintegration process, the immersion process and a deinking process, the immersion process has a stage in which treatment using hydrogen peroxide and ozone is carried out under a neutral condition of pH 6-8 and the pulp concentration is 8-40% in the stage of the treatment using hydrogen peroxide and ozone in the immersion process.
