PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use or utilize a large amount of waste powdery paint which is discharged during painting work or becomes unnecessary in a powdery paint production plant and a powder coating work site, and a large amount of slag exhausted from a public incineration station. SOLUTION: A strong formed article is obtained by first mixing the slag and the waste powdery paint, pouring the resulting mixture into a mold meeting the purpose, placing the mold in a heating furnace, and heating at a certain temperature for a certain time so that the resin of the waste paint is melted, the surface of each particle of the slag is coated with the resin, and a layer of the resin is formed at a gap between particles of the slag, and cooling the heated mixture so as to bind the particles of the slag with the strong resin of the powdery paint. In the formed article, the gap between particles of the slag is permeable to water. It is anticipated that many advantages of glass-like hardness of the slag, water-permeability, eternal strength of the powdery paint resin, and many kinds of colors resulted from the waste powdery paints are utilized depending on the use.
