<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiver which can display correct time and output a time signal. <P>SOLUTION: If a received image is delayed as in the case where a broadcast is viewed and listened at an arbitrary place via a portable television which cannot directly receive radio waves from a broadcasting station, the correct time can be displayed by adding time data from the standard clock 10 to the image received by the image receiver and displayed on the screen.
