<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask capable of stably housing a pad or the like containing a desired treatment agent or an aromatic. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of pleats 1 parallel to the long sides of a rectangular mask main body 11, which comprises a nonwoven fabric containing thermoplastic fibers and the mask main body is expanded in its short side direction to fit the mask 10 to the shape of the face at the time of wearing. A shape retaining member 2 traversing a nose at the time of wearing is provided to the long side of the mask main body and a housing part 4 for the pad 9 containing an aromatic, a treatment agent or the like is provided to the pleat 1a adjacent to the shape retaining member so as to restrict the expansion of the pleats.
