PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anamorphic imaging element which constitutes an optical scanner used for image forming devices, such as digital copying machines and laser printers, and which can suppress the deterioration, such as optical axis misalignment, due to the fluctuation in environmental temperatures as far as possible. SOLUTION: The anamorphic imaging element constitutes an optical system for forming line images near a deflection reflecting surface of an optical deflector possessed by the optical scanner, in which the anamorphic imaging element 3 is bonded and fixed at its end in the direction of weaker power of a horizontal scanning direction and a vertical scanning direction to a base 100 by an adhesive 110.
