PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for visually confirming vehicle periphery capable of imaging both close places and far places to a vehicle. SOLUTION: This device images the periphery of each corner part of the vehicle, and obtained images are displayed in a cabin. In the imaging camera 13, a reflection mirror 23 is driven by a drive mechanism 24 to control set states for mirror surfaces 23a and 23b of different curvatures and directions, so that an imaging range B imaged by an imaging element 21 is changed in accordance with distance between the vehicle and an obstacle measured by a distance measuring sensor 12. In case where the distance between the obstacle and the vehicle is a prescribed change-over reference distance or under, the mirror surface 23b of the larger curvature is set, so that the imaging range B close to the vehicle is imaged at a large image angle. In case where the distance between the obstacle and the vehicle is a larger than the change-over reference distance, the mirror surface 23a of the smaller curvature is set, so that the imaging range B far from the vehicle is imaged at a small image angle.
