PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope which adjusts the light quantity of illuminating light without using a dimmer filter. SOLUTION: An address of a revolver 100 corresponding to an objective lens placed on an optical path at present is detected by a sensor 11 having a hole IC and a magnet combined, and an output voltage is controlled on the basis of output voltage data of the objective lens corresponding to the address of the revolver 10, which is preliminarily stored in a program memory, to control the luminance of an LED light source 50 to a desired level.
