PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of work of assembling bobbins into an outer core and to prevent contact between the coil wound on one bobbin and the coils wound on the adjacent bobbins. SOLUTION: A rotating electric machine 10 comprises a plurality of bobbins 18 installed in the outer core 12; coil-winding portions 24 on which coils 20 are wound; peripheral walls 26 formed orthogonally on the outer circumferential side of the coil-winding portions 24; engaging grooves 36a and 36b formed on the inner wall faces 38 of the peripheral walls 26; first and second engaging portions 28 and 30 formed on the outer circumference side of the coil-winding portions 24; and cover members 32a and 32b which are extended in such a direction that they separate away from the first and second engaging portions 28 and 30, and encircle the coils 20 by own bending action.
