PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of improving the operability. SOLUTION: The information recorded on an optical disk is read by a recording means 10 to output a read signal. This read signal is detected by a DSP 20 and processed to be reproducible. A quick return button selects at least either one of processing details for starting or stopping the information process and for changing the information reproducing position. At this stage, when the instruction to change the processing state of the information is recognized by a reproduction state changing part 120, the processing state of the DSP 20 is changed by a reproduction control part 52 based on the processing details selected by the quick return button. Since the processing details for starting or stopping the process and for changing the reproducing position are made in common and recognized to a reproduction state changing part 120 as the change instruction, the operating members are simplified and the operability of the information reproducing device 1 is improvable.
