PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material sufficiently satisfying several properties such as water resistance, electric insulation, working environment, productivity and durability as a molding product of a polyester resin or resin composition and for electric and electronic elements having complex shape. SOLUTION: The saturated polyester resin for molding has melt viscosity of 5-1,000 dP or less at 200°C and an accumulated amount of a×b of≥500, wherein tensile break strength of a film molding molded from the resin is (a) (N/mm<SP>2</SP>) and tensile break elongation is b (%).
