PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colorant discoloration preventive not irritating the skin, a cosmetic using the same, and a colorant discoloration preventive method. SOLUTION: There are provided a colorant discoloration preventive containing an amber powder; a cosmetic containing a natural colorant and an amber powder; the cosmetic wherein the natural colorant is a carotenoid colorant; the cosmetic wherein the carotenoid colorant is licopene; the cosmetic which is an emulsified one; and a method for preventing colorant discoloration by compounding an amber powder into a colorant-containing composition.
