PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the misdetection of a paper sheet caused by the clouding of a reflection face caused by the heated paper passing through the reflection face located oppositely to a light reflection-type sensor. SOLUTION: This paper post-processing device comprises the light reflection-type sensor PS2 for detecting a position of an end face in the paper width direction of the paper sheet S loaded on a predetermined position of a guide plate 45 guiding the paper sheet S discharged from an image forming device, a punching means performing the punching processing onto a predetermined position in the paper width direction, and a control means for operating a driving means based on an detection signal of the end face position in the paper width direction by the light reflection-type sensor PS2 and moving the punching means to the predetermined position in the paper width direction, and a reflection sheet 46 for reflecting the incident radiation emitted from the light reflection-type sensor PS2 is attached to a recessed part of a guide plate 45.
