Producing bioprostheses from allogenic or xenogenic material, involves treating with detergent (for lysis and killing of foreign cells) and inoculating the remaining collagen matrix with cells from the body of the transplant recipient, the transplant is conditioned in a solution of cyclic lipopeptide (I) (including mixtures or salts) between the detergent treatment and inoculation stages.
