PURPOSE: A gratitude indication lamp system and a control method thereof are provided to make turn signal lamps automatically turned on/off a reference number of times through the simple operation of a switch when a driver wants to turn on/off the turn signal lamps several times during driving. CONSTITUTION: A gratitude indication lamp system comprises turn signal lamps(L1¯L4) mounted to the front or rear of a vehicle; a flasher unit(10) controlling on/off of the turn signal lamps; a gratitude indication lamp switch(12) through which a gratitude indication control command, repeating on/off of the turn signal lamps a reference number of times, is input to the vehicle; and an electronic control unit(13) controlling the flasher unit and making the flasher unit turn on/off the turn signal lamps the reference number of times if the gratitude indication control command is input through the gratitude indication lamp switch.
