PURPOSE: A suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner is provided to prevent the deterioration of suction force by elastically returning a holder moving according to the rotation of a rotary unit. CONSTITUTION: A suction nozzle(20) for a vacuum cleaner is composed of a casing(22) having an opening, a rotary unit(24) rotating on a rotary shaft and having a bending unit(24c), upper and lower fixing units(23a,23b) fixed to the rear center of the casing and having a hinge hole(23c) coupled to the rotary shaft, a holder rotatably coupled to the rotary shaft and having an arc unit, and an elastic unit(28f). The elastic unit is installed at the contact part of the holder and the lower fixing unit.
