<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the energy efficiency with improved performance while reducing the equipment cost. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for producing a purified liquid is constituted to allow the supply flow of liquid carbon dioxide from a large capacity tank (not shown in the figure) to enter the apparatus 1 through a substantially flowable line 10. The line 10 is connected to the bottom part of a purification vessel 12 through a port 14. The purification vessel 12 is provided with a distillation column assembly 13 surrounded preferably by an integrated chamber, that is, an annular collecting chamber 32 which is an integrated component of the purification vessel 12. Further, the line 10 allows the flow of carbon dioxide to flow substantially freely from a large capacity carbon dioxide feeder to the distillation column assembly 13 of the refining storage container 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
