<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service information providing system and method used for efficiently and properly providing service information relative to tire replacement, oil change and the like for a customer having, for instance, a vehicle or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This service information providing system includes a server device (50), first terminal devices (10) and second terminal devices (20) capable of transmitting and receiving information over a communication network (1). Each first terminal device for a store for providing service is equipped with a first input means for facilitating input of service information showing the content of the service. The server device is equipped with a server-side processing means for determining whether or not the content of the service shown by the service information from the first terminal device adapts to the state of a product in terms of time or content, and distributes the service information relative to the content when it is determined to adapt to the state.
