<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost abnormality determination device for a motor control circuit capable determining an abnormality in the motor control circuit and installing the motor with space saving by reducing the motor in size, even though the motor is not a special one, and to provide the blower motor equipped with the abnormality determination device. <P>SOLUTION: The abnormality determination device comprises: a motor control element 8 that controls current passage to the motor 1; a motor control element drive part 9 that turns on/off the motor control element 8; a monitor signal output part 10 that outputs a monitor signal based on the presence/absence of the abnormality in the motor 1 when the motor control element 8 is turned off by the control element drive part 9, and outputs the monitor signal based on the presence/absence of the abnormality in the motor control element 8 when the motor control element 8 is turned on; and a control means that determines the presence/absence of the abnormality based on the on/off state of the motor control element 8 and the monitor signal from the monitor signal output part 10, and controls the control element drive part 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
