<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that burning occurs due to degradation of an organic EL element in an organic EL display device. <P>SOLUTION: The organic EL display device is provided with a display panel constituted by arranging pixels 51 provided with organic EL elements 50, like a matrix and a driving circuit which drives the display panel in accordance with input data. Each pixel 51 has a photodiode 9 arranged in a position where light from an organic EL element 50 can be received and has a current input end of the organic EL element 50 and that of the photodiode 9 connected to each other and has the connection point connected to a current source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
