<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display mechanism for an electronic device which diversely display information with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic device, for example, a voice recording/ reproducing device, an indication apparatus for displaying information related to the recording/ reproducing device is composed of an organic electroluminescent (EL) panel 25A, a self-lighting indication apparatus. A light guide 14A is disposed with one end faced a part apart from a display window 11 of the panel 25A, with the other end exposed to the outside of the reproducing device. While recording voice, for example, another end of the light guide 14A is made to light by lighting the panel 25A to which one end of the light guide faces by a system controlling part, to function as a recording indication lamp 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
