<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tag writing apparatus for writing information required for an IC tag to reduce the management load of a specimen in an inspection organ. <P>SOLUTION: The tag writing apparatus 2 has a handy type housing 4. The housing 4 comprises a slender handle section 6; and a specimen information reading section 8 whose tip is curved downward. Additionally, the tag writing apparatus 2 incorporates a bar-code reader 20 for reading information recorded on a bar code and an IC tag writer 16 for writing information on the IC tag without any contact. An in-hospital specimen ID (specimen identification information) recorded on the bar code 22 put on the specimen is read via the bar-code reader 20, is converted to a specimen ID for an inspection center (specimen identification information for inspection organ), and then is written into an IC tag 24 attached to the specimen via the IC tag writer 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
