<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for effectively using an energy and a gas obtained from organic wastes such as thinned wood, driftwood, waste timber, waste plastic, garbage, sludge, mowed grass and papermaking sludge. <P>SOLUTION: In the process, hydrogen is recovered by heating the organic waste at 500-600°C in a non-oxidizing atmosphere, mixing the generated pyrolysis gas with steam at 900-1,000°C and purifying the obtained reformed gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
