PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing plate 1 in which an external terminal 4 can be bonded to a rivet 3 by using a general resistance welding means, even when a material having a low resistance such as copper is used as the material of the external terminal 4, in the sealing plate 1 of a pressure vessel of a battery, a capacitor or the like. SOLUTION: While interposing a member 5 which is composed of a material having a larger resistance value than the values of the rivet 3 and the external terminal 4 and has a washer form between the rivet 3 and the external terminal 4, the rivet 3 and the external terminal 4 are processed to resistance welding. Additionally, projections for enhancing the bonding force more than ever are arranged on any one or more among the external terminal 4, the member 5 and the rivet 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
