PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fatty acid vinyl ester-based resin aqueous dispersion which has sufficient water-resistant adhesiveness, especially warm water-resistant adhesiveness and a small amount of a volatile organic compound. SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion comprises a copolymer (A) obtained by subjecting a fatty acid vinyl ester and (meth)acrylic acid and/or a (meth)acrylic acid ester to emulsion polymerization in the presence of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and an acetoacetylated partially saponified polyvinyl acetate (B).
