PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting network information capable of realizing the detection of network information without requiring a server function providing network information. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a packet monitor (23) for monitoring a packet on LAN to which a plurality of apparatuses are connected, and a subnet mask detecting part (24) for detecting subnet mask set in network apparatuses using an IP address based on the IP address included in at least a monitored packet. When a destination IP address and a destination MAC address included in the monitored packet do not indicate the same network apparatus, a router detecting part (26) is provided for detecting the IP address corresponding to the destination MAC address as the IP address of the router.
